Julia Vinograd is a well known Berkley, California poet. She has 44 books of poetry
which she sells at the Cafe Med, on the street and on the bus for $5 each. She is no longer young, and is very large.
She is crippled and wears leg braces. The following poem is one she wrote after the 9/11 disaster.
